Students in the in-school design program learn the basic elements and principles of photographic composition and visual design.
They receive a survey of graphic design as an art form and as a culturally relevant visual communication. They also learn how to use design software programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Comic Life to produce visually exciting, audience-driven creative work.
Students also design logos, promotional clothing, and products from CD/DVD covers to posters to gallery pieces to comic art.
